Hi, my name is Melina Lopez and I am the host of Unadvertised, a podcast about speaking your truth, speaking up and spreading awareness on what they don't want advertised. I would be honored to invite you to listen in. I myself was a victim of sexual assault by a superior in a correctional institution I worked at. There were a lot of social media outlets covering my story at the time. My perpetrator was arrested. but law enforcement was unable to press charges. It was earth shattering to say the least. Although I was considered a Jane Doe I decided to start a podcast where people can anonymously speak their truth to help others. For the last two years my institution has tried to push me out and shut me up which just motivated me even more. I would like to tell your stories, our stories, and shed light on what institutions and agencies try to hide from the public. By sharing our stories, we can help others protect themselves.
